Several critics consider the film to be one of the worst films from director Kamal.The film is a remake of the 1988 Hollywood drama film Rain Man.It released in more than 50 theatres and had a good collection of 1.5 crore in first 6 days.the credit is to the dual role of Dileep as both as a young man and as anautistic patient.
